My focus is simple: helping people understand themselves, expand their horizons, and move towards meaningful, sustainable futures.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Work<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I support students, educators, and organisations to navigate education and career pathways in a way that is informed, inclusive, and globally aware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My work includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One-to-one career guidance using approaches like the Career Construction Interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing careers curricula grounded in evidence and international best practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training educators and organisations in inclusive practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Public speaking and workshop delivery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Building global networks that connect students with real-world pathways<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Having lived and worked in both the UK and Malaysia, I bring a genuinely international perspective. I regularly collaborate with educators, universities, and industry professionals across the world \u2014 because careers education shouldn\u2019t be limited by geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inclusion &amp; Belonging<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since losing my hearing in 2021, inclusion has become central to everything I do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I now actively advocate for equity, accessibility, and belonging \u2014 not as abstract ideas, but as practical realities that shape how people learn, work, and participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a JEDI-B (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion &amp; Belonging) Director and consultant, I:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help organisations identify and remove invisible barriers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design inclusive learning and event experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train teams in Universal Design for Learning (UDL)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support culture change so people feel genuinely welcomed and valued<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>My work is grounded in lived experience as well as professional practice. I believe inclusion is not an \u201cadd-on\u201d \u2014 it is fundamental to good education and good work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Approach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t believe careers guidance is about telling people what job to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s about:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding who you are<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognising your strengths, values, and experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exploring what is possible \u2014 globally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making informed, confident decisions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I am particularly passionate about helping people discover opportunities they may never have considered \u2014 whether that\u2019s alternative education routes, international pathways, or funded study options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>My own career hasn\u2019t been linear \u2014 and that\u2019s exactly why I do this work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started in recruitment and events before training and working as an auditor and Chartered Accountant. After having children, I stepped away from that career and moved to Malaysia, where I became a full-time parent \u2014 still the most demanding role I\u2019ve ever had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During that time, I began volunteering in schools and discovered careers and higher education guidance.
