Reading and Renewal

As the year winds down, I’m sitting with all the shifts I’ve navigated this past year – most importantly, becoming loudly proud of who I am and valuing my disabled identity 🚀 .

This time of recovery has helped me sharpen my focus, steady my pace, and discover a new life story 📖. 2025 has been hard, healing, and deeply transformational. As the year closes, I’m looking forward to resting, relaxing, resetting, and reading some brilliant books that align perfectly with the journey I am on. As I step gently into 2026, I’ll be embracing my next chapter with excitement and humour.

Unlearning Ableism by Celia Chartres-Aris (née Hensman) and Jamie Shields 🧠
How to Ikigai by Tim Tamashiro
My Boss is a Moron by Ben Askins 😂

Wishing everyone a restorative holiday season, deeper learning, and the courage to redefine what’s possible. Here’s to a year of intentional transitions and a future written with purpose ✨. I’d love to hear what books you’re hoping to read this holiday season! 🎁
